WHAT IS ELECTROSTATIC DISINFECTING?
Electrostatic sprayers are tools used to apply FDA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectant to 3D surfaces for a 360-degree complete clean. Electrostatic disinfection technology is often used in facilities where mold, virus or bacteria outbreak has been suspected or identified. It is also used as a proactive measure to eliminate any possible contamination and used in corporate offices, hotels, medical and healthcare facilities, schools, homes, and various public areas.
How does it work?
• Separate liquid and air lines meet at the nozzle tip. The low pressure, high volume air flow quickly atomizes the liquid into uniform droplets, which then pass through an electromagnetic field. It is here where each droplet picks up a strong negative charge.
• The airstream carries the negatively charged droplets towards the spray target. Because of the charge, each droplet spreads out evenly to form a uniform spray cloud upon exiting the nozzle.
• Just like the pull of a magnet, the droplets become more strongly attracted to the target the closer they approach. The force of attraction is up to 75X of gravity allowing for complete coverage of hidden surfaces.

A.C.D. uses FDA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectant that is stronger, more sustainable, and easier to use than bleach and other similar alternatives.
STRONG: Our disinfectant is effective against a broad range of microorganisms, including C. difficile spores, Covid-19, Hepatitis B, Norovirus, HBV*, HIV*, and Canine parvovirus. *Meets OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard - Kills HBV and HIV-1 on pre-cleaned environmental surfaces / objects previously soiled with body fluids.
SAFE: Our disinfectant will not harm floor finishes or other wet-cleanable surfaces, doesn’t leave behind a residue, and it won’t bleach or stain clothing. Plus, it has an HMIS health rating of 1, compared to bleach’s rating of 2–3, so its gentler pH will not burn skin, and also has a much milder fragrance that’s not as noticeable.
STABLE: Our disinfectant continues working in the presence of organic load (i.e., blood and dirt). It offers residual killing power (unlike bleach, it goes on killing until dry). The sodium dichloro-s-triazinetrione retains killing power due to a 50/50 chemical equilibrium that continues to generate chlorine to replace that which is being used up in the process of destroying microorganisms in contact with organic loads. This means that it is not inactivated by dirt, cloth, or organic matter, as occurs with bleach.
SUSTAINABLE: Our disinfectant is an EPA-registered bleach alternative that is less corrosive than traditional bleach.
